Editorial policy

Calcistry is written and maintained by the Calcistry editorial team. This page sets out how we stay independent, how we correct mistakes, and how we use AI-assisted tools.

Independence

Our calculators apply published rules to the numbers you enter, and give everyone the same result for the same inputs. We decide what to build and what to write based on what is useful to readers, not on any commercial relationship.

No influence from advertisers or affiliates

Calcistry currently has no advertisers, no affiliate partnerships and no sponsors, and no company pays us for a mention, a link or a placement. If that ever changes, we will update our affiliate disclosure first and label every such link. No commercial relationship will ever change a calculation, a comparison or the wording of a result.

Not advice

Everything on Calcistry is general information and educational estimates. It is not personal financial, tax or investment advice, and we don't recommend products or providers.

How we check figures

Our sources, official worked examples, automated tests, annual review and rounding rules are described on our methodology page.

Use of AI-assisted tools

Calcistry is built and maintained with AI-assisted tooling, which helps us write code and draft text. Nothing is published on trust: every tax figure is checked against the official source, and every calculator must pass its automated tests, including the official worked examples, before an update goes live.

Who we are

Calcistry is run by the Calcistry editorial team and made alongside the UniMind Pro Markets YouTube channel (youtube.com/@unimindpro). More on the about page.
